Kyivavtodor head: Quality of construction materials is main reason for poor roads

The quality of construction materials used in the 80s of last century is one of the main reasons for poor roads in Kyiv, head of the Kyivavtodor public utility corporation Heorhiy Hlinsky told a briefing after the board in City Administration, ForUm correspondent reports.

According to him, non-anomalous winter explained a poor condition of the capital's roads.

According to him, as of January 14, 2013, the road network organizations started the patching, and as of February 12, the potholes were liquidated on the area of 14.7 thousand square meters. At the moment, these works are being continued.

In addition, Hlinsky promised that as soon as the weather conditions get better, the patching will be more intense even at night.
