Ukrainian society listens to the recommendations of Europe, and the Europeans have to convince the Ukrainians to use the energy efficient technology, director of the department for project management and energy efficiency in life support systems of the Ministry of Regional Development, Construction and Housing and Communal Services of Ukraine Stanislav Zakharov told a press briefing during the round table "Policy of energy efficiency and increase in public awareness: responsibility and cooperation," ForUm correspondent reports.
"Today we need three things from the European Community. Namely we should use positive European experience, cheap credit and powerful information campaign," he said.
Zakharov added that the European community but not the EU authorities should convince Ukrainians to use the energy efficient technology.
