The Party of Regions stands for peaceful unblocking of work of the Verkhovna Rada, head of the Party of Regions faction Oleksandr Yefremov told a briefing, ForUm correspondent reports.
"We consider a scenario of peaceful unblocking of work of the Verkhovna Rada and try to embody it. A lot of newly elected MPs, as I understand, do not know what they are doing here, believing that their main task is to do what they do. We are working and trying to educate our colleagues in this respect, to hold proper discussions, and slowly the situation changes for the better," he said.
Yefremov added that "we do not consider the possibility of applying power methods in the near future, but if there is a need to and we will see that it is fundamentally necessary for our Parliament, we will consider other options for work."
