A new Rada-4 voting system may be launched in six months, speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Volodymyr Rybak told a briefing, ForUm correspondent reports.

He stressed that useful life of the Rada-3 system finished in 2012. "We need to upgrade it or launch a new system," the speaker said.

According to him, the National Academy of Sciences may develop and install a new system in about six months, but that process requires means.

Rybak said that calculations regarding the possibility of launching the new system will be submitted to the Parliament in the near future.

Responding the question when such a system could be launched, Rybak said: "In six months".

He added that the timing of the tart-up of new voting system depends on its cost and the availability of means.
