Twenty four Ukrainian nationals will be evacuated from Syria soon, Foreign Ministry's spokesman Yevhen Perebyinis told a briefing in Kyiv on Tuesday.
"24 Ukrainian citizens intend to leave Syria due to the difficult and dangerous situation. As of today, about 500 Ukrainian nationals remain in Syria," he noted.
Since the beginning of 2012, 361 Ukrainians have been evacuated due to the escalation of the conflict in Syria. Other 139 compatriots returned home with involvement of the International Organization for Migration.
