Vice Prime Minister Oleksandr Vilkul met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the USA to Ukraine John Tefft, the press service of the deputy Prime Minister reported.
"The main task of the government is to create the conditions for economic development and mutually beneficial cooperation of domestic and foreign business. I as a state manager am always ready to promote the implementation of specific development projects," he said.
Tefft congratulated Vilkul on his new government post and expressed hope for further fruitful cooperation. "We will continue our close cooperation with you, which has lasted for three years I believe you will be able to fulfill the tasks set by the state," the ambassador noted.
During the meeting, they discussed issues on attracting the U.S. investments in infrastructure, transportation and utilities fields in Ukraine.
"We will continue to support the effective cooperation between Ukrainian and American businesses in the future," Vilkul said.
