One of the most common reasons for late arrival of the ambulances following emergency call is poor culture of other road users, director of the Health Department Vitaliy Mokhorev said during the Administration’s meeting, ForUm correspondent reports.

"We have systematized the reasons for late arrival of the ambulances following emergency call. The primary cause is traffic jams and daily traffic, the second one is poor culture of road users," he said.

According to Mokhorev, often an ambulance can not pass just because other drivers do not yield it right of way. In addition, official named improper parking of cars, lack of street signs, signs on buildings, porches and poor lighting at night among the reasons for late arrival to the patients.
