Medical institutions of Ukraine have sufficient amount of drugs against influenza and ARVI, deputy head of the State Service for Medicines press office Mykola Kholodenko told a press conference, ForUm correspondent reports.
"Compared to the last year the total number of anti-influenza drugs has increased by 23%, and number of medical devices has increased by 17%. Today, 11 leading distributors have 21 million packages of anti-influenza agents in the central warehouses. For about 9 million packages have been already taken to the regions," he said.
The representative of the State Service for Medicines added that about 14 million packages of pharmaceuticals and medical products to treat influenza and ARVI are now in pharmacies and health care institutions.
