Ukraine's Olena Pidhrushna took the second place in the women's pursuit at the Biathlon World Cup in Antholz, Germany, Interfax-Ukraine news agency reported.
With only one shooting error, she finished 18.9 seconds behind the winner of the race, Tora Berger of Norway. Finland's Kaisa Makarainen was third.
Following this success, the captain of the Ukrainian national biathlon team climbed two spots in the women's 2012/2013 Biathlon World Cup ranking and is currently in 8th place.
