Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov hopes that a compromise on the revision of tariff commitments under the World Trade Organization will be found.

"We have submitted our proposals on 370 commodity items for review at the WTO," he said during the meeting with foreign investors, ForUm correspondent reports.

Azarov informed that the talks will be held on January 23. The negotiations will be attended by vice Prime Minister Yuri Boiko, economic development and trade minister Ihor Prasolov and EU Commissioner Karel de Gucht. "I think that a compromise will be found," the prime minister said.

As a reminder, Ukraine joined the WTO on May 16, 2008, becoming the 152 full member of the organization.
