Yesterday, on January 17, deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Kostyantyn Hryshchenko met with director of the Ukrainian Institute of National Memory Valeriy Soldatenko, the press service of the official reported.
"Popularization of history is one of the integral parts of the state humanitarian policy in general and the education of young people in particular," Hryshchenko said.
He also stressed that the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine intends to support the activities of the institute, associated with the study of little-known and tragic pages in history of the Ukrainian people.
