Keeping the second time zone in Ukraine (i.e. canceling the daylight saving time - Ed.) makes more urgent the issue of setting different limits of the working day in the regions within in the second and the first time zones, first deputy economic development and trade minister Anatoly Maksyuta told a briefing.
He noted that there is a President’s decree, which allows local authorities to set their own limits of the working day, but it is almost never used.
Anatoly Maksyuta also noted that the Economic Development Ministry has brought up the bill on keeping second time zone in Ukraine for public discussion.
