Ukraine will determine the company to build the LNG terminal till February, energy and coal industry minister of Ukraine Eduard Stavytsky has told before the Cabinet’s meeting, ForUm correspondent reports.
"Currently we are negotiating with three companies: American, Korean and Chinese. The Gas Natural Fenosa Spanish company refused to participate in the project," he said.
"We have three proposals. I think we will define the terms and the people to deal with these issues by the end of January," he said.
According to him, the feasibility study of the project should be done in the first quarter of 2013, and construction of the first site of the terminal could begin in June.
