The newly appointed deputy head of the presidential administration, Serhiy Larin, will be in charge of regional and staff policy, Interfax-Ukraine learned at the press service of the presidential administration on Friday.

"Earlier these functions were performed by Stanislav Skubashevsky, who was dismissed from the post of deputy head of the presidential administration on November 23, 2012 due to his election as an MP. On January 9, Skubashevsky was appointed an independent advisor to the president," the press service said.

When asked whether anybody will be appointed to the post of the head of the presidential administration's main department for humanitarian, social and political, which was vacated by Hanna Herman, who was elected an MP, the press service said that the presidential administration was undergoing reorganization.

The press service said they would report the results of the reorganization as usual on the president's official Web site.
