As ForUm correspondent reports from the Parliament’s session hall, MPs have approved the schedule for the second session.

Reporting on the issue, head of the procedural committee MP Volodymyr Makeyenko said that the second session of the Verkhovna Rada of the 7th convocation opens on February 5, 2013 and ends on July 19. 11 weeks are given for work in plenary mode, 7 weeks - for work in committees and commissions, 6 weeks – for work with voters.

The schedule also provides for ten hours of questions to the government.

The schedule was supported by 251 MPs. In particular, the Party of Regions gave 184 votes, the BYT-Fatherland Union faction – 2 votes, the UDAR Party faction – 29 votes, the Communist party faction – 31votes. Five votes in favor were given by individual MPs. The All-Ukrainian Union Svoboda did not vote.
