Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych congratulated Ukrainian citizens on Christmas.
"The Son of God came into this world to bring us the word of faith, hope and love. Each year this great holiday unites all our people," the president's Christmas greetings posted on his official web site reads
"I wish you all happy holidays and a good mood. I wish everyone happiness, peace, harmony and prosperity," Yanukovych said.
The President wished welfare and prosperity to Ukraine and Ukrainian people.
"Christ is born! Glorify Him!" the President said.
