In 2012, Ukrainians convinced themselves and the whole world that they has no insurmountable obstacles on the way to reach their goals, Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov said in his greetings on the New Year and Christmas.
Talking about the last year, the head of the Ukrainian government reminded about the main achievements of Ukrainians in 2012: "We held the European football championship, which was a real holiday for fans. We developed the domestic production, built schools, kindergartens, hospitals, bridges and airports. We gathered a good harvest. And we ensured the prosperity in our state.
Last year, the government began to implement a new social policy of the President of Ukraine, which allowed improving gradually but continuously the lives of our people."
"The Ukrainian people freely expressed their will at the democratic elections. The new Parliament and government started to work," Azarov noted.
"Now we are ready to unite all the constructive political forces in a creative work for the Ukrainian people.
The new year will bring us a lot of difficult work. We will make every effort to support the growth of the domestic market, and we will defend every job in Ukraine and will support the export of Ukrainian goods.
