Almost 20 thousand policemen to protect Ukrainians during holidays

From December 30, the Interior Ministry will work in a robust security regime. Internal minister of Ukraine Vitaliy Zakharchenko has recently signed the corresponding order.

During the holidays, more than 19.500 employees of internal affairs of Ukraine will ensure the maintenance of public order.

In the period from December 31, 2012 till January 2, 2013, the state will hold almost 1.5 thousand Christmas events with the participation of more than 1.1 million people.

According to the order of the Interior Ministry of Ukraine, the police officers will work in a robust security regime from 9 am on December 30, 2012 till 9 am on January 8, 2013.
