Chevron, Shell agreement may be signed before year-end

Ratification of agreements with Shell and Chevron on the development and production of hydrocarbons will be held before the end of this year, acting minister of ecology and natural resources of Ukraine Eduard Stavytsky told a briefing, ForUm correspondent reports.

"The legal translation and initialing of these agreements are being carried out now ... As for Shell and Chevron, it is necessary to ratify these treaties in regional councils. And I think it will happen this year," Stavytsky said.
