The Finance Ministry of Ukraine has placed state treasury obligations of the second series worth 600 thousand dollar, director of the department for tax and international financial policy of the Finance Ministry Halyna Pakhachuk said during a round table "Government treasury bonds in foreign currency: analysis of results of the first issue and future prospects," ForUm correspondent reports.
"On November 30, the Finance Ministry began to place the second series of treasury bonds. During this time, we have placed 600 thousand dollar, because the tool is affordable and simple," she said.
She also thanked Oschadbank for the successful release of the first A-series.
She also noted that the Finance Ministry expects that the placement of B-series obligations will end in late February - early March, stressing that the Finance Ministry plans to issue treasury bonds in local currency.
