External independent testing in 2013 will begin on June 3 with a test in chemistry and will end on June 27 with test in world literature, director of the Ukrainian Center for Educational Quality Assessment Iryna Zaitseva told a press conference, ForUm correspondent reports.

"Testing can me passed in six languages: Ukrainian, Russian, Polish, Romanian, Moldovan and Crimean Tatar. 311.5 thousand people are expected to participate in testing 2013," she said.

Zaitseva recalled that 329 thousand people were tested in last year.

She said the registration for the test will be held from January 4 to March 5, 2013, and students will be able to select up to 4 items to pass the test.

"Changes to the registration information can be introduced until March 19. It concerns only those who were registered," Zaitsev said.

She also said that manuals for test preparation will be on sale in the near future. "Some publishers have addressed us with a request to review manuals, and in a few weeks it will be available. However, we have also faced with the fact that some publishers produce fake manuals," she said.

Zaitseva said that the outcome of the main session of testing will be published from June 18 to July 5 and the results of additional sessions should be announced until July 18.
