Recalculation of pensions, in accordance with the law of Ukraine on national insurance and social pensions in accordance with the law of Ukraine on pension provision in the reporting period, was held for all 12 million 666 thousand people.
"The tasks, set for 2012, are implemented. Speaking on average, the increase in all of these categories (pension updating - Ed.) has made up about 135 UAH," deputy social policy minister of Ukraine - chief of staff Vyacheslav Kolomiets told a briefing, ForUm correspondent reports.
In particular, tasks for increasing military pensions are performed.
According to deputy minister, it is assumed that the process of rising will occur in three phases. First - 1 July 2012 - pensions rose by 10% to 586 thousand people, the second - September 1 - by 10% to 531 thousand people, the third, according to the deputy minister, will be implemented from January 1, 2013.
In addition, Kolomiets commented on the introduction of socially equitable level of monthly insurance payments to victims in the production and their families.
According to him, at the first phase - March 1, 2012 - the average insurance payment for the victims in manufacturing grew by 32% or 236 UAH. This figure rose to 237 UAH for employees of the coal industry.
The second phase of the recalculation of monthly average insurance payment was made on September 1. Accordingly, the average insurance payment for the victims in manufacturing grew by an average of 200 UAH, for the coal industry workers - 234 UAH.
