All social standards have been increased in Ukraine since December 1, 2012, deputy social policy minister of Ukraine - chief of staff Vyacheslav Kolomiets told a briefing, ForUm correspondent reports.

"The minimum salary has risen to 1134 UAH. This is 13% or 130 UAH more than over the same period last year," he said.
 
Official rate of pay has also increased since December.

"The size of the salary of first tariff level employees has increased to 839 UAH. It is 19.2% or 135 UAH more than over the same period last year," the deputy minister said.

In addition, he noted there is no pension debt in Ukraine.

"As of the end of November, all pensions were fully funded in the amount of 20.2 billion UAH. It is 100% provision, that is 13.7 million pensioners," he said.

He added that since December 1 this year, the minimum pension makes up 884 UAH. It is 10.5% 84 UAH more than over the same period last year.

As of October 1, the average pension amounted to 1 438.3 UAH. It increased by 16.9% or 208UAH over the same period last year.

Kolomiets added that the cost of living has increased since December 1.

"Currently, the average cost of living is 1095 USD. It is 14.9% or 142 UAH more than over the same period last year. As for able to work categories, their cost of living makes up 1134 UAH, for those who have lost their working capacity - 884 UAH.
