Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has accepted the resignation of the Prime Minister of Ukraine and the Cabinet of Ministries. The corresponding decree was published on the official website of the President.
"According to the article 115 of the Constitution and paragraph 9 of part one of the article 106 of the Constitution of Ukraine, I resolve to accept the resignation of Prime Minister Mykola Azarov, causing the resignation of the entire composition of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine," the report says.
Yanukovych also instructed the Cabinet of Ministers to continue to fulfill its powers until the newly formed Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine starts working. The decree comes into force from the date of its publication.
