Bilateral cooperation and issues of relations between Russia and Ukraine will be discussed in early 2013 at the interparliamentary committee meeting in Dnipropetrovsk,

head of the Committee for CIS Affairs and Relations with Compatriots of the State Duma Leonid Slutsky said.

"The next meeting will be held in Dnipropetrovsk in early 2013. That is where we will be able to discuss not only the scientific and technical cooperation between our countries, as previously planned, but the whole complex of problems in Russian-Ukrainian relations, including its parliamentary component after the parliamentary elections," Slutsky said.

He also expressed his gratitude to his Ukrainian colleagues for their willingness to intensify the dialogue between the State Duma and the Verkhovna Rada.

"Parliamentary diplomacy plays an important role in strengthening mutual relations,"  he said.
