In Ukraine, all children under one year old that need cardiac surgery will have a social security, Prime Minister Mykola Azarov promised during a meeting with health experts, ForUm correspondent reports.
"In Ukraine, seven thousand children under one year old need operations. The state can help all of them. Children should not depend on the income of their parents," the Prime Minister said.
Azarov also declared that he was pleased after visiting Amosov National Institute of Cardiovascular Surgery. "We have got clinics of the European level and even better," he stressed.
