Ukraine will comply with the decision of the European Court of Human Rights, which declared the detention and arrest of former interior minister Yuriy Lutsenko violation of the European Convention on Human Rights, justice minister Oleksandr Lavrynovych told a briefing, ForUm correspondent reports.
 
According to him, all of the requirements are outlined in the decision and international law.

As reported, on July 3, the European Court of Human Rights declared the detention and arrest of Lutsenko politically motivated and the violation of the European Convention on Human Rights.
Ukraine appealed the European Court decision.

On November 20, the European Court of Human Rights upheld the judgment on Lutsenko, rejecting request of the Ukrainian government to reconsider the first judgment by the Grand Chamber.
