Embassy of Palestine in Ukraine appealed to President Viktor Yanukovych to exert pressure on Israel to stop the aggression and protect the Palestinian people from Israeli military attacks, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Palestine in Ukraine Mohammed Al-Asaad told a press conference in Kyiv, ForUm correspondent reports.

"We appeal to his Excellency President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych with a request to interfere and exert pressure on Israel in order to stop this aggression against our people," he said.

Al-Asaad also urged the international community to exert pressure on Israel and to support the request of Palestine for observer status at the UN sent, which will be sent on November 29.

In addition, he said that Israel does not want to accept the terms of armistice of Palestine, because it does not agree to fulfill the main requirement to end the blockade of Gaza.

According to him, as of November 20, more than 118 Palestinians were killed in the Gaza Strip, including 28 children and 18 women, and a number of wounded exceeded 900 people.
