The Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Ukraine plans to open visa centers in Chernivtsi and Uzhgorod before the end of the year, Consul General of Poland in Lviv Jaroslaw Drozd said.

Despite the difficulties, the consul considers visa centers in Ukraine to have good experience.
"Based on this experience, we have introduced such a system in Russia," Drozd said.
He also informed that in the first year of work of the visa center in Ivano-Frankivsk, 58 thousand citizens were issued visas. This year, the number of visas issued has increased compared with 2011 by 14-15%. Average statistics of visa denial for the last year was 3%.
