On November 7, 2012, the government approved a draft order of the President of Ukraine "On the appointment of grants of the President of Ukraine for talented young people in 2013."
The draft order was prepared in execution of the Presidential Decree from August 2, 2000 by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports in cooperation with the State Service of Youth and Sports, the press service of the Ministry of Education and Science, Youth and Sports reported.
The Expert Council under the State Service of Youth and Sports, which includes the representatives of the executive authorities, leading scientists and members of the public, carries out the nomination of candidates to receive grants of the President of Ukraine for the talented youth. The Expert Council was approved by the order of the State Service of Youth and Sports on April 20, 2012.
The government approved 40 projects on the advice of the Expert Council for the nomination of candidates to get grants of the President of Ukraine for the talented youth. Only 72 projects from 22 regions of Ukraine were received.
The purpose of this action is a financial support by the state of talented young people to implement the important art projects in the social and humanitarian fields, which contribute to the realization of their creativity and preservation of the intellectual elite in Ukraine.
