Ukraine sent a request to China to provide the Ukrainian companies with quotas on corn supply next year, the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine reported.
"The Ministry of Agriculture and Food sent a request to the Trade Ministry of China to provide us with quotas on the corn supply for the next year," the press service of minister Mykola Prysyazhnyuk informed.
According to the Agrarian Policy Ministry, Ukraine will soon sign an agreement with China on phytosanitary requirements for the delivery of this crop.
According to Prysiazhniuk, the Chinese market is advanced for Ukraine in the production of food and agricultural products. Except for corn, Ukraine plans to bring soybeans and rape to the Chinese market.
