Over the last six years, a number of abortions among teenagers significantly decreased in Ukraine, doctor of medical sciences, professor, head of the Department of obstetrical problems of extragenital pathology of the Institute for pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology of the National Academy for Sciences of Ukraine Yuliya Davydova told a press conference at the opening ceremony of the photo exhibition "Life begins with love," ForUm correspondent reports.
According to her, this figure dropped threefold.
In addition, Davydova said that early motherhood is not a mass phenomenon in Ukraine.
"Yes, there are such cases, but they amount to tens, not even hundreds," she noted.
