The construction of five plants producing synthetic gas is to begin in 2013, President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych stated in the course of communication with media representatives in Luhansk, ForUm learned from the presidential press office.
The Head of State noted that 3.5 billion USD would be attracted in the form of investments in order to implement this project. According to the President, respective decision had been made in the course of his state visit to China in 2010. “As the result of our joint work with Chinese partners we’ve decided to allocate 3.5 billion USD for this program,” he said.
According to the President, 2 of 5 plants will be built in Luhansk region. “All the documents were drawn up and now there is a designing period,” he said.
