First vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Valeriy Khoroshkovsky rules out the possibility of problems with Russian gas supplies to Ukraine this winter and disruptions in its transit through Ukraine to Europe.

"I think there will be no crises this winter and in the near future as we act within the framework of the signed agreements. I am sure that this winter will be calm," he told a press conference in Yalta.

Khoroshkovsky also ruled out any problems with the transit of Russian gas to Europe.

"In my opinion, the issues that may arise between Ukraine and the Russian Federation won’t be problematic for the EU," Khoroshkovsky said.
