Today, on October 4, III International Black Sea Economic Forum starts at the Livadia Palace in Yalta, Crimea, the Council of Ministers of Crimea press service informs.

This year's forum will be attended by first vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Valery Khoroshkovsky, vice Prime Minister - social policy minister Serhiy Tihipko, vice Prime Minister - infrastructure minister of Ukraine Borys Kolesnikov, energy and coal industry minister of Ukraine Yuri Boiko, agrarian policy and food minister of Ukraine Mykola Prysiazhniuk. Crimea will be represented by chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea Anatoly Mohyliov.

The Forum is likely to be attended by head of the EU Delegation to Ukraine Ian Tombinski, Secretary General of the Organization of Black Sea Economic Cooperation Viktor Tvirkun, former chairman and CEO of the Institute of East Blue Ocean Strategy Europe and Central Asia to Ukraine Pavlo Sheremet.

The overall topic of the III International Black Sea Economic Forum will be "Black Sea region competitiveness rising: coordination and joint projects".

Participants will discuss the strategic position of the Black Sea countries, the priority sectors and new opportunities for collaborative projects, as well as energy conservation and energy efficiency, transport and export-import procedures. In addition, it is planned to discuss the methods of attracting investment to the agricultural sector, ways to increase the attractiveness and competitiveness of the tourism sector, etc.
In addition, a number of strategic agreements is expected to be signed during the forum.
