Launch of the deep and comprehensive free trade area with the European Union is one of the main priorities of the foreign policy of Ukraine, first vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Valeriy Khoroshkovsky said during a meeting with the EU Commissioner for Trade Karel De Gucht, held on September 24, 2012 in Brussels, the press office of Khoroshkovsky reported.
At the meeting, special attention was paid to the prospects of the association agreement between Ukraine and the EU, which will open the possibility of introduction of the FTA provisions.
The parties also discussed the investment climate in Ukraine, in particular, the beginning of business dialogue between Ukraine and the EU.
