According to the results of year 2012, Poland plans to issue up to 1 million visas to Ukrainians, Consul General of Poland in Kyiv Rafal Wolski said during the round table "EU visa practice in 2012: is there a change?", ForUm correspondent reports.

In particular, he reminded that the issue of visa by Polish consulates in Ukraine has a constant increase of 40%. At the same time Wolski said that in Ukraine there is a "big gray area around the visa issuance. Little is being done to overcome it," he stressed.

Consul General of the Republic of Poland reminded that the EU Visa Code provides for the visa issuance rules. According to him, Ukrainians often turn to intermediaries and therefore "criminal methods of creativity appear".

In particular, a large number of forged documents is exposed- work permits, invitations. In addition, there is a new service: "good visa history, which costs $500. Fake visas are printed and put into real passports," consul informed.

Polish official urged Ukrainians not to waste money, not to pay to "gray" intermediaries, whose services are "sold to people may be issued a visa without them".
