Association Agreement, free trade area and visa-free regime are three factors, which make the process of Ukraine's European integration irreversible, first vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Valeriy Khoroshkovsky said at the meeting with vice Prime Minister, economy minister of Poland Waldemar Pawlak, held on September 20 in Kyiv.

The main attention was paid to the key areas of cooperation between Ukraine and the Republic of Poland.

"We need to make a concerted effort for the Association Agreement signing is not artificially delayed. Agreement should be ready for signing by the end of this year," Khoroshkovsky said.
The parties also discussed the establishment of the EU-Ukraine free trade area. According to the first vice Prime Minister of Ukraine, due to this step, the Ukrainian-Polish bilateral economic and trade cooperation will have new opportunities, beneficial not only for Ukraine and Poland, but for the EU as a whole.

"Ukraine and Poland need to make a sustained effort to support the positive trend of trade, economic and investment cooperation as well as cooperation in the field of energy security," Khoroshkovsky said.

The parties noted the interest in more active cooperation in the development of alternative energy and energy efficiency.
