The World Bank decided to allocate 450 million dollar to Ukraine for improving the quality of roads, the WB statement said.
"On September 20, board of executive directors of the World Bank approved a loan of 450 million dollar for the "Project to improve roads and traffic safety" in Ukraine," the statement said.
This project will improve the condition and quality of the Kyiv-Kharkiv highway between the cities of Poltava and Lubny.
It will also create the conditions for improving the safety standards on Ukrainian roads in general.
