In Ukraine, 1% boilers work for alternative fuels, department director of project management and energy efficiency in the field of life-support systems Stanislav Zakharov said at the board meeting of the Ministry of Housing, Regional Development and Construction, ForUm correspondent reported.
According to him, this relates to 285 boilers. "Heat pumps are installed on 38 of them. This is not enough high rate," he added.
Zakharov noted that we need targeted support measures to increase the efficiency of thermal utilities. "These measures may be carried out on the basis of state-private partnership," he said.
