The Cabinet of Ministers intends to allocate 38 million UAH in draft state budget for 2013 to support disabled athletes, Prime Minister Mykola Azarov said during the Paralympic champions and winners awarding ceremony.

"We will provide 38 million UAH," Azarov said in response to the relevant request made by MP from the Bloc of Yulia Tymoshenko - Fatherland, the President of the National Paralympic Committee Valery Sushkevich.

In addition, Sushkevich addressed the Prime Minister with a request to provide funds for operation for the Paralympic swimmer Dmitry Kryzhanivskyi and bonuses for athlete Mariya Pomazan.
The PM called "unprecedented victory" performance of Ukrainian Paralympians in London.
"With your courage you have proved that you are the people of unlimited possibilities, and many can only envy your success," Azarov said.

He promised that the government will assist to development of sports for the disabled and promised that the state budget 2013 will allocate all necessary funds for this purpose.
