The draft budget 2013 provides for funds to increase the minimum salaries and salaries of state employees, Prime Minister Mykola Azarov said at the Cabinet’s meeting, ForUm correspondent reports.
"As President demands, we continue fulfilling social initiatives and improving the lives of citizens," he said.
According to him, draft budget 2013 directs additional 10 billion UAH to the introduction of new minimum salary, salary increase for employees of public institutions.

It also provides for more than 8 billion to increase aid to families with children.
"We plan to increase minimum salary by 8.5% or 100 UAH in the next year. Thus, the average worker’s rate increase will be 18% or 146 UAH. This will significantly reduce the gap between the rates in the next year," the Prime Minister concluded.
