A tendency to reduce the budget deficit is very urgent, deputy Prime Minister, minister of social policy Serhiy Tihipko told a briefing, ForUm correspondent reported.
"I believe that the budget should be built realistically. This is the most important thing, and we have to endure some trends. The tendency to reduce the budget deficit is very urgent today," he said adding that the budget for the next year should keep the social parameters of 2012.
At the same time, Tihipko denied to call basic parameters of the draft budget for 2013. According to him, they will be announced at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers.
