The state budget of Ukraine 2013, a draft of which is currently being developed by the government, will be a realistic one, Prime Minister Mykola Azarov said in the interview with the Channel 5.

"The budget should be realistic and should not be focused on the election or any other political situation. The budget can either cause instability or contribute to the stabilization of the economic situation. Therefore, the main task of the government is to make the budget that would implement the policy of stability and development," Azarov said.

He noted that the government will make every effort to develop the country. According to the Prime Minister, the government is to introduce the reorientation policy at the domestic market due to unfavorable foreign markets environment for traditional Ukrainian export. With this objective, in particular, the large-scale infrastructure projects are to be implemented.

"The government will pay special attention to the implementation of infrastructure projects, development of the internal market and the shift from external to domestic demand," Azarov concluded.
