The FTA agreement with the CIS will come into force on September 23, trade minister of the Eurasian Economic Commission Andrei Slepnev told a press conference on Tuesday, August 28.
"The agreement will enter into force on September 23," he said.

He noted that Kazakhstan will ratify the agreement in early September.
"We hope that Kazakhstan will complete their ratification procedures in early September, when the Parliament returns from vacation. And so, the agreement will start to work between the key partners," Slepnev said.
He also expressed the hope that the other signatories to the agreement will soon ratify it.
