Prime Minister of Ukraine, head of the Party of Regions Mykola Azarov considers "dirty technology" the nomination of MP candidate, who have the same last name and sometimes the same middle name, in one constituency.

"Of course, our electoral law cannot prohibit any citizen of the country to apply and register. But when there are several candidates with the same last name and middle name, then, in my opinion, this is a "dirty technology", which is intended to deceive our voters. I emphasize - to deceive, to play on the fact that in the long list of candidates a person may confuse the names of the candidates and to deprive some famous candidate of the votes," Azarov told a press briefing after the opening of the Stalteh steel plant in Brovary, Kyiv region.

He stressed that the Party of Regions does not use "dirty technologies" in the election campaign.
"The Party of Regions, which I have the honor to represent, has not used ever any dirty technologies and will not do it, because we will be judged not by a number of "clones", but by our particular work," Azarov said.

Earlier, the CEC member Mykhailo Okhendovsky said that the Central Election Commission is concerned about the practice of registering as MP candidate of people with names, which match the names of famous politicians.
