At the meeting of the Central Election Commission on Sunday it was decided to address the National Bank of Ukraine, ForUm correspondent reports.

On August 24, the CEC received the joint statement from the commissions representatives of the UDAR, the Fatherland, the Freedom, the PR, the Communist Party political forces, which refers to the difficulties experienced by the subjects of the electoral process in some financial institutions.

In particular, the statement noted that no more than 151 thousand UAH may be withdrawn in some banks within one business day. In addition, it is impossible to withdraw the funds on weekends and holidays, as banks do not work.
 
All the Central Election Commission voted unanimously to approve this request, which is to be sent to the National Bank.

The CEC pays the NBU’s attention to the need for the abolition of restrictions on financial transactions via the accounts of the election funds of political parties and candidates for people's deputies of Ukraine and calls the banks to work on weekends and holidays.

As a reminder, the parliamentary elections in Ukraine will be held on October 28.
