Russia did not allow the sale of 312 tons of Ukrainian cheese produced by the Mensky Cheese branch of the Prometheus private enterprise and the Hadyachsyr LLC cheese plants on its territory.
According to the Russian Federal Consumer Rights Protection and Human Health Control Service press office, for 8 months in 2012, 360 samples of cheese produced by five Ukrainian enterprises have been delivered for research in the lab "Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology in Moscow". 331 samples have been already studied completed.
"39 tons of three lots of cheese produced by the Mensky Cheese branch of the Prometheus private enterprise and 273.866 tons of nine lots of cheese produced by the Hadyachsyr LLC were given expert conclusion of non-compliance with sanitary and epidemiological rules and norms," the statement says.
It is emphasized that these products are not allowed for sale to the public.
At the same time, it is reported that 320 lots of cheese gets the expert opinion on the compliance with the sanitary-epidemiological rules and norms. These products are approved for sale to the public.
According to the Russian Federal Consumer Rights Protection and Human Health Control Service, 29 samples of cheese produced by four Ukrainian enterprises are undergoing the laboratory study now.
It is noted that the Lozovsky Milk Factory developed and presented the action plan on combating the identified violations. Upon review of the plan, the Russian Service sent back its comments to the plan as it did not include all the activities required to combat the violations.
According to the press service, till now the Lozovsky Milk Factory has not submitted to the Russian Service a revised plan and information about combating the violations, which is inconsistent with the intentions of the director of this enterprise for the early resumption of the supply of products to the Russian market.
