On August 28-30, 2012, Ukraine will host the famous Woodstock rock festival for the first time. It will be held at the Kalynivka airfield (Vinnytsia region), ForUm learned from the official website of the festival.
"Love, Friendship and Music" is the motto of the first Woodstock Ukraine music festival. This project aims at developing the mass music culture, forming aesthetic taste of fans of different musical styles, uniting diverse performers with general idea, uniting people from different parts of our country, developing the charity volunteer movement in Ukraine.
Woodstock Ukraine Festival is open and free for visitors from all over the country.
The festival program includes performances of 36 bands from Ukraine, Poland and Estonia. The headliners of the festival will be the Mad Heads, the Kozak System and the Skriabin. Guests will take part in many activities aimed at the development and dissemination of ideas of volunteering and charitable social activity.
