In October of this year, Ukraine and Korea will sign an agreement on the introduction of a simplified visa regime for owners of official passports, Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov said during a meeting with presidential envoy of the Republic of Korea Lee Jae Won, the press service of the Cabinet reports.

According to Azarov, as of today, the signing of this agreement between Ukraine and the Republic of Korea is relevant. He informed his Korean counterpart that Ukraine has already established the visa-free regime with more than 20 countries. "Now, the negotiation on the establishment of visa-free regime with EU countries is almost completed," Azarov added.

In turn, Lee Jae Won said that on October 6 of this year, the minister of foreign affairs and trade of the Republic of Korea will visit Ukraine. During this visit, the parties are ready to sign the agreement on visa-free regime for the official representatives of states.
"We hope that this work will continue, and eventually, the visa-free regime will be established for all citizens," the presidential envoy of Korea stressed.
